Update
What's up guys..

Sorry for the lack of updates, I really haven't played as much as I've wanted to in the last week. I received my Mac Mini and I think I officially have the Mac bug right now. I was told once I switched to Mac I would want to buy everything and its pretty true. I'm always on the Apple website now looking for new toys to add to my system. So far I really like the computer but just trying to learn how to use it. Its really like learning a new language after using Windows my whole life. I haven't been able to play much because I hooked up my old logitech keyboard and mouse to the system and the mouse seems very sluggish. I'm unable to move it around comfortably which makes it tough when trying to play 4-6 tables at a time. So I ordered the wireless Apple mouse and keyboard that I'll be receiving on Monday then I can get back to playing. I also haven't got the Parallel program yet so I'm still unable to use my poker tracker while playing which is another reason for the lack of playing. I need to get a copy of Windows to put on the system so I'm looking to download that and hopefully get this system Poker ready. When I have played this week I've been playing heads-up(1 on 1) pot limit Omaha and been absolutely crushing it. I started playing it last week because I just needed a switch from playing Hold'em everyday, my mind was getting a little bored and Omaha is a good game to switch things up. It also really helps my Hold'em game. In Omaha you need to have a bit more gamble in you to play successfully. I'm by no means an Omaha expert but trying to really learn the game. In Hold'em you undoubtedly have to be willing to gamble at times to be a winning player and sometimes I think I error to the side of not gambling. So when I play Omaha the gamble comes out of me and leaks well in my other games. Now when I say the word 'gamble' I don't mean being reckless and stupid. A lot of players mistaken gamble for continuously trying getting all their chips in preflop willing to be in a coin flip situation at any time. When I say the word gamble I mean being in certain situations where you need to follow a read in order to make a big raise or move your chips in when you're not holding too much in your hand. If your read is that a guy is betting the turn lightly(not a strong hand), you may have to be willing to check-raise him all in on the turn holding bottom pair. Unfortunately sometimes the guy will call with the nuts, but if you're making proper reads and calculating good fold equity (value of the possibility the other player will fold to your bet) you're going to win more pots. When I ramble like this about poker strategy most of it comes from me learning on the Cardrunners training sites. When I go to that site its like being in a class room soaking in as much information that I can and sometimes I'll spew the information here on my blogs.
Other then poker not too much has been going on. Me and Julie and stuck right now watching Lost, I downloaded the first 3 seasons on my laptop and hooked it up to my plasma and pretty much watched that all weekend. Today I'm going to watch Tiger in the World Match-Play Championships and probably shoot some more Omaha. I played for like an hour when I woke up this morning and won like 6 buy-ins! Was running extremely hot so hopefully it doesn't cool down for the time being.
Alright once I get this Mac setup to start shooting long sessions again I'll let you know how the progress goes. Here's a picture of the new computer.
