As I mentioned in my last blog I spent last weekend with family going to my uncle's funeral and visitations.  Although the weekend was pretty depressing for obvious reasons it was nice to hang out with the family and see people you don't see that often.  When I got home after the funeral I was feeling like garbage and woke up with the stomach flu.  It was horrible.  I don't get sick very often, but when I do, it hits me like a sack of bricks.  I was unable to move or function, felt like death.  I actually lost like 7-8 lbs in the 3 days.  Anyways I'm pretty much back to normal now and ready to start playing again.  Luckily I have an understanding boss and lets me have time off work..lol   I played yesterday for a little bit and did ok.  Lost some big pots all-in pre flop with Aces and Kings to some guys trying to push me off my hand.  I did some Full Tilt shopping yesterday as well.  When you play on Full Tilt they give you points for every 'x' amount of dollars that goes in to the rake.  Then they have a store where you can use your points to purchase items.  They actually have some pretty good stuff if you save up enough points.  I was able to buy the 32GB Ipod touch which will come in handy on long poker trips. 

So the next week or so I'm going to really pack in the hours at the tables to make up for lost time.  I'll let you know how it goes.
