Poker Hands From Last Blog (poker content only)
These are some hands from my last blog that I couldn't post then for some reason. This blog is all poker content, so if you get bored by reading poker hands and analysis I suggest you skip this blog. For others, enjoy.
> Now this hand didn't even get to the flop it was all pre flop. It was against a player I've been battling with the last couple days and he's a real solid player. Probably the best player I've encountered at the low stakes level. Basically we were raising and re-raising (3 & 4 betting) each other pre flop all day. And in this hand he raises from the cut off and I decided to 3 bet (raised) him from the puck with 8,9. Now he thinks and 4 bets(re-raised) me. At this point against most opponents I just fold my hand and move on, but I really felt he was raising me light(weak) in this spot because I've been raising him a lot. I decide to go with my read and move all-in and he quickly folds.

> Here's another cool hand against the exact same player. I raised from the cut off with K,Q suited and he 3 bet me from the puck. Like earlier I would fold this hand to most opponents but I was sure I had the best hand and decided to call. I also could of 4 bet preflop but with the way we were playing he was liable to move all-in pushing me off the best hand so I elected to call. I get a decent Queen high flop and decide to just check-call and raise on the turn. Now on the turn an interesting card comes, an Ace. I know this guy is a good player and knows thats a good scare card to bet at no matter what he was holding. He fires out a big bet, at this point I still feel he is super weak and there is a flush draw out there which is good for me for a couple reasons. If I call and the flush comes on the river I can turn my hand into a bluff and move all-in. But also if the flush doesn't come and he puts me on missing my draw on the river and might bluff at the pot again. So with all those things going through my mind I just called the turn. Now the river is a blank and I check hoping he'll bluff the river. He moves all-in, I think for a bit just to re-evaluate the hand, but I was quite certain I had the best hand even if I didn't have top pair. I call and he shows 6,3 and I win a decent pot.
