Live One
I started my session earlier today and it was a pretty boring one. I couldn't get shit going, wasn't picking up or making big hands. Just pretty blah. Got into a couple interesting spots but nothing too exciting. I was just about to call it quits for the day till a found a live one(a player who puts in a lot of action at the tables). This guy started playing every single hand and I'm not exaggerating.. he played every hand for about an hour and half and he usually came in for a raise or would call a raise. Right away I knew playing this guy would be huge value so I decided to extend my session till this guy stopped playing. Well it ended up being a great decision because I grabbed the guy numerous times. The best part about it was that I would beat him in a hand, then he would run good against the other players at the table and build his stack up again, then proceed to give it all to me. It was kind of funny because the table was full of regulars basically doing the same thing I was, playing because this maniac was sitting but they all couldn't make a hand against him.
Anyways I'm going to post some of the hands I played against him so you guys can take a look.
:This was the first hand I played against him... if he woke up with pocket Kings I woulda puked. : Now this hand in reality I played like a complete donk preflop. I would NEVER do what I did preflop if it was against anyone else but this guy. I just didn't want to re-raise and get blown off the pot because I want to play hands and see flops with this guy for th exact reason of what happened. I was actually expecting him to call with a weak hand after I shoved, but he must of had complete air. : This was the nail in the coffin for him. This hand was a little scary too because the original raiser who raised under the gun is a very strong player and he as aware of how that other guy was playing.. so I knew he was raising with a pretty tight range. When the maniac shoved, if the UTG raiser would of called I would of snapped folded.. but once he folded I knew I pretty much had the nuts against that guy.
Alright I'm gonna watch the rest of this San Antonio/New Orleans bball game then probably hit the sack.. Jay
