Quick Update
Hey Guys,
I haven't blogged much lately because I really haven't played that much the last 3 or 4 days. I've played some, mainly some tournaments while watching TV. Julie was out with her girlfriends last night so I stayed home like a degenerate and tried to bink off a tournament with no success. I now remember why I can hate tournaments so much, you play for hours and hours and either take a bad beat or make a small mistake and end up making cock soup. I guess the only way to eliminate that is be a tourney pro and play a million tournaments a day and run good in at least one of them and hit a huge score. I did the tourney thing in the past, it was fun and I did make shit loads of cash.. but I feel like you run on cruise control a lot of the times and don't get to exercise your poker skills. There is no doubt in my mind that cash game players are wayyyy more skilled than tournament players. And I'm not putting down tournament players because like I said I used to do that a lot. But in 3 months of studying cash games I learned more than the 3 years I was grin din tournaments.
Anyways, I still enjoy playing tournaments.. its hard to resist when you see the huge prize pools. The shitty part is that you need to run like god in a tournament in order to win one and right now I'm not running like that. I have a feeling I'm going to hit a big one any day now though. I'll be back to grinding cash games tomorrow so there will be more blogs with interesting hands.
Sorry for the low content but not much to write about.
