Not even spun..

So after I wrote my last blog.. I stopped playing, took my dog for a walk, cleared my head and thought about most of my losing hands.  Julie was out with her girlfriends that night so  I had the whole night to shoot in peace.  All the tables were looking good so I sat looking to re-coop some losses. But things didn't go as planned.  It actually went worse than when it started earlier that day... WAY worse.  I lost pretty much every single pot I played.  I was even taking some shots at 3/6 and 5/10 (which probably wasn't a good idea) and that went like shit too.  I ended up having my biggest losing session of the year.  I don't usually talk number/results in my blogs, but needless to say I lost A LOT.  Most of it was just short term variance; I lost 7 coin flips in a row, and lost with AA all-in preflop 4 consecutive times.  And any bluff I attempted got picked off.  I'm not going to post all the hands because there's no need to.  Just going to get back on the horse tomorrow and continue to play good poker and ride this out.

Back in the day a losing session like this would spin me like no other.. but as a I continue to grow as a player I'm able to look at the big picture and just shrug it off.  Besides, it's Christmas, no time to be in a grumpy mood.

I'll keep this blog short because I'm watching football.. I'm first place in my pool but just went 0-9 in the 1pm games! lol..

Anyways... I'll post another blog soon.

Later
