Getting back into the swing of things..

What's up guys..

So the last couple days I've gotten back to the tables and pretty much just focused on feeling comfortable at the tables.  There's been quite a bit of decent action going on which is nice... nothing worse then sitting down to play a session only to find all shitty tables stacked with regulars.  Even still playing is my favorite fish from last year.. 'mesteven' some of you might remember him from some of the hand replays.  He just gives away money every time he plays.  So any time he is playing I immediately sit down and play, not matter what I was doing.  Although he has seemed to tighten up a bit, but I'm sure he'll be back to his psycho ways very soon.

Speaking of fish, I found a crazy one today.  I'm still playing the 2/4NL cap games for the time being and occasionally play some 3/6 (although I seem to run like cock at this limit).  I like to be a table starter because it attracts fish.. so I was sitting at a 3/6nl table just waiting and this guy sits down.  The cap in this game is $180.  The first FIVE hands, he just open shoves all-in for $180.  He wouldn't raise, he would just push all-in.  It was pretty nuts, but I had to keep folding because I kept getting dealt rags.  While we were playing I just had a feeling of what was gonna happen though... against guys like this they are looking to double up once, then get the hell out of there.  Unfortunately for me, this hand happened very early in our heads-up session:

He then immediately got up after winning that hand and left.  I wasn't really spun because I knew it was going to happen.  So I decided to search his name to see if he went to another table and I found him playing 5/10NL cap.  That game is a little high for me at the moment but I couldn't turn down the opportunity to play with this guy.  So I sat at the table and luckily for me things went in my favor this time..

Chasing this fish definitely worked out this time... I won a couple other hands and was able to scoop a quick thousand in under 10 minutes.

Aside from that things are going just decent.  I'm playing pretty good, made some mistakes I blame on being a bit rusty, but just haven't run that well in all-in flops.  Actually yesterday was pretty bizarre, I kept getting it all-in preflop and kept chopping the pot with a straight or flush coming on board.  I think last year I wrote a blog how this happened to me, but this time was nuts.  It happened 4 times in one session, I don't know what the odds of that are, but pretty friggin nuts.

Oh shiiiiiiittt, I have my Full Tilt open and just saw that fish sit down again... Gotta go!
