After writing my last blog I immediately hit the tables and continued to lose quite a bit.  I quit earlier this time and was trying to figure out what was wrong.  I knew it was a bit of variance but I also knew I wasn't playing very good.  My mindset just seemed to be a bit off, I was getting frustrated by stupid things that never bother me, and frankly just doing stupid things.  To be honest I don't even know why.  So I took the rest of the night off and forced myself to watch some training videos to get my head straight... and it that seemed to work.  I was able to re-focus and had a killer day today.  I actually had one of my biggest winning days of the year.. funny how that works, that I can have my biggest losing day and winning day in the same week.

Oh yeah, the other night I was shooting and sweating eskal's brother Chantro and we decided to play the super turbo tourney.  I think I mentioned it before, but its basically a crap shoot tournament where you start with 300 chips and gamble.  I love it because so many people enter it and for a $117 buy-in you can win almost 10k in about an hour.  

During this tourney I felt like I was going to win at all points.. I was running good, winning flips and built up a stack.  I think around 400 people started and we were down to 15 people when I got it all in with AK vs Q9.. flop was Q,4,4.. and I was out.  It was like a punch in the throat, all I needed to do was run good for like 20 more minutes and I would ship the tournament.  I forgot how big of a cock tease tournaments can be, you get so friggin deep and can taste 1st place money only to get fucked.  Me and Chantro have been playing a bunch of these things and I guarantee we're going to win one, I can just feel it.
