A few hands

I've been fairly busy lately with shopping for a new place to live.  I've also had people coming in and out of my condo non-stop with real estate agents checking the place out, which has become super annoying.  Aside from that I have been able to get some hands in with good results.  On Friday I had an awesome session and cleaned up.  I played my 'A' game the entire session and was making good reads.  Today's session was a little different, I was even for about 3 hours, then I hit a shit storm and got extremely stuck within like 30 mins, but I stuck with it and was able to get unstuck and was able to show some profit on the day.  It was just one of those days where I lost a bunch of 60/40's and 70/30's but was still able to pick up other pots because there was so many fish.  I actually did a fishy thing though and quit when I probably shouldn't have, I was playing good and there were a bunch of fish at the tables, but I made the mistake at looking at my results during the session and noticed I got unstuck and immediately quit.

Here's some hands from the last couple sessions, remember most of these are from cap games.

^ Here's a cool hand.  I had such a good read on this fish and I was smacking him around the entire session.  You can see he's obviously not a good player just from his initial play of limp/calling utg.  When I check/call on the turn I was doing this for value, not to spike an Ace or King.  To be honest I didn't want an Ace or King to come because I probably wouldn't gain any value on the river.  I tanked a bit on the river but I knew I wasn't folding, his line just made no sense whatsoever, and whenever that happens, they usually don't have anything.

^ Don't ask me how I won this hand... Ship

^ I really loved winning this pot.  Fuck him.

^ I was playing this guy heads-up for a while, he was running good against me early on, but I stayed aggressive and it paid off.  He was very passive so I was playing super aggro against him, as you can see people will try and make a stand at the wrong time when you play like this.

I don't feel like posting any losing hands this blog, I'll keep it positive and just show some of the winners.

Writing this blog was a good break from my session, I think I'm going to check the tables out and start playing again.

Later...

Jay
