Weekend relaxin'

What's up guys,

Well this week there has been good and bad news, the good news is that I played a TON of hands.  Probably the most I've ever played in a 5 day span, the bad news is that unfortunately the results still aren't there.  I'm still running below expectation but it hasn't bothered me too much.  I've made some minor fixes in my game which I believe will start helping my win rate once I get out of this funk.  I'm actually playing good during this stretch, my one leak when I'm losing is usually playing too many hands out of position.  Some times I don't even realize I'm doing it till after wards when I do my session review.  A lot of times making the smallest mistakes can take a tole on your win rate.  Concentrating on things I can control and not stressing about situations I can't is key for me.

I was happy with my work ethic this week, I was super focused on not only playing a lot of hands, but playing well and not tilting.  I re-arranged my my daily routine a bit to be able to get in more hours.  I strive on living a healthy lifestyle day in and day out, and when that starts to slip in the slightest, I can see it affect my poker game.  So in order to get my game back on track, I have to make sure everything around me is back on track also.  Luckily everything is going good for me outside of the poker table.. I've got no stress going on right now, which is allowing me to focus on nothing but poker.

I don't usually play much on the weekends so I'll be getting back to the tables on Monday.  Tomorrow I'll be watching football all day and just chill.  I'm still loving this fantasy football and I made some big pick-ups this week.  Ship Fred Jackson!  I just need Brady to get his head out of his ass and I'll start rocking people.

We're starting a Fantasy Hockey League starting tomorrow (27th), its $50.  If you want in let me know, either send me an email or post a comment on here.  I'm sure we can arrange an online transfer or something if you want to play.

Alright I gotta jet.. later

Jay
